O2jam Battle Arena! Open Beta commences!

Due to the business patterns and socio-economic factors surrounding e-games Malaysia, I have strong reason to believe that e-games will be bankrupt presumably by mid 2008. In anticipation for the shut down, I have gathered a group of people to assist me in developing Malaysia's first o2jam private server -

O2jam Battle Arena!

But before that, allow me to justify my "illegal" project as well as the above statement.

Here are the TOP 5 Factors that will lead to the closure of E-games:

1. Inability to capture the market
- This goes out to the E-games managers & staff. Shame on you (except for those who truly did work their ass off) for not being able to capitalize on the RM61million loan! As it is, o2jam is suffering dwindling support & market share with the launch of newer games in the music game genre, SDO, Audition etc.

-Songs & In-game items are not periodically updated and technical issues are not resolved immediately. A new player (potential customer) would probably "quit" the game before even starting if he ran into unresolved technical issues. Existing players will eventually quit if the content is dry.

There you have it. It's your fault, the managers! (notice to small "m")

2. Lack of security
- An inherent flaw is the structure of the game itself. It was so poorly built that hacking was as easy as pie. I bet many of you don't know that we could use the Ko2 ojnlist.dat in the Malaysian server to play ko2 songs for free! (pre-o2jam NX) Then came those trainers my02, gaussianblur hack being the most popular ones. All p2p songs were "hacked" and enabled.

According to Kishi, some players managed to transfer EP from user to user without authorization.

3. O2mania
FREE unlimited play and access to the game. What? Although this emulator isn't favoured for its lack of authentic gameplay, this baby would definitely draw new gamers away from the official servers.

4. Private Servers
Need I explain more.

5. People just got bored (Refer to factor 1)

The launch of O2battle Arena is scheduled immediately after the closure of o2jam Malaysia.
